Scripts Programme 2025

We had a wonderful eleventh outing of Scripts: Ireland’s Playwriting Festival, in July this year. 

 

Scripts is a dynamic celebration of contemporary Irish theatre, dedicated to nurturing and showcasing the finest new plays from emerging and established playwrights.

Every year, we invite 3 playwrights to come to Birr for a week of mentorship with Eugene O'Brien and a rehearsed reading of their work by professional actors.
