Emma Nee Haslam
Emma Nee Haslam has been Manager at Birr Theatre & Arts Centre for over 22 years and has developed a network of established contacts in the Irish theatre and music industry, has extensive experience in arts venue and festival management, community development along with project and finance management in a non-profit. During that time she established, and currently co-produces, both Hullabaloo! Offaly’s Children’s Arts Festival and Scripts Ireland’s Playwriting Festival. She was on the team of the establishment of, and provided incubation support for, both OFFline Film Festival and Birr Festival of Music. Emma served as vice-chair of Birr Vintage Week & Arts Festival (1994-1996) and festival secretary (2001-2009). Emma holds a BSc (hons) in Management Practice and recently undertook a number of training opportunities in Lean Management (Green Belt); Project Management (QQI – 6 distinction) and Training Delivery and Evaluation (QQI – 6 distinction)
