Lisa Daly
Lisa has a degree in Theatre Arts from Muhlenberg College, Pennsylvania, USA, during which time she also completed an internship at the Theatre Outlet with George Miller and Kate Scuffle and their season of Irish plays. She lived in Galway, Ireland for the last 12 years, where she worked with various Theatre Companies. With Selkie Theatre in Galway she has been in productions of "Laundry and Bourbon" by James McLure; "A Broken Moon at Midnight", site specific work by Kerric Harvey, performed in St. Nicholas Church, Galway; and "Desdemona: A play about a handkerchief" by Paula Vogel. Other roles include Ophelia in "Hamlet and Ophelia", an original work (Ninth Wave Theatre Company), .... Stevie in "The Goat, or Who is Syliva" by Edward Albee (Lily Hill Productions), and Natasha in "Bridget Jones's Dairy" (Lily Hill Productions). Film work includes "Summer of the Flying Saucer", directed by Martin Duffy and premiered at Cinemagic Film Festival, Dublin.
She had the privilege of again working with George and Kate as co-producer of Selkie Theatre's Electric Cow: The GreenPlay Festival in Bethlehem PA, where her play “Glow Worms” premiered. In New Haven, Connecticut she is a member of A Broken Umbrella Theatre
company where she has performed in several shows, including Freewheelers which premiered at The International Festival of Arts and Ideas.
She has been a co-producer of Scripts Ireland’s Playwriting Festival for 10 years, and currently resides in Hamden, Connecticut where she is a film and theater teacher
